DPRK Premier Inspects Industrial Establishments
Pyongyang, December 9 (KCNA) — DPRK Premier Kim Tok Hun, member of the Presidium of the Political Bureau of the Central Committee of the Workers’ Party of Korea (WPK), inspected the Sunchon Pharmaceutical Factory, the Unsan Prospecting Machine Factory and Pyongyang Department Store No. 1.
Going round the production processes of the pharmaceutical factory, he underlined the need to add glory to the exploits performed by the WPK for the development of the Juche-based pharmaceutical industry and decisively increase medicines.
He underlined the need to put the pharmaceutical industry on a self-supporting and modern basis, paying efforts to producing basic and reserve medicines with locally available raw and other materials. He also took steps for updating the production processes.
At the prospecting machine factory he urged its officials, technicians and workers to register more successes in the 80-day campaign and develop movable prospecting equipment suitable for the geographical condition of the country.
The field consultative meetings discussed the issues to raise the production of medicines on a higher stage and produce more efficient prospecting equipment.
